is comprised of long time musicians and original song writers, Dennis Esterlin and Dan Purvis. We only do original music and new talent. |

We compiled our original songs and music into downloadable mp3 files and established this site. All Missing In America songs are copywritten before presented for sale.
Dennis Esterlin started writing poetry during his teenage years expanding into playing guitar as accompaniment to his poetry. He started playing as a solo artist and occasional garage bands and collaborating with fellow musicians on original American sounds.
Initially showcasing our music we are expanding to add other musicians, talented comedians and storyteller(s). All are formatted for digital downloads.

Dan started playing guitar as a teenager, playing in garage bands and small local venues around Alexandria VA & Washington DC.
He continued playing in various groups and while in the US Army he organized and lead a Blues Brothers type program presented in German sports bars, switched to a Heavy Metal format in the American clubs and moved on to Country Music which the German Rod & Gun Clubs loved and played at American/German October Fest celebrations on Military posts.
After returning to the US he started writing and performing his own music.
During Desert Storm, when not working on injured or hurting soldiers he formed a Classic Rock and Country Band for the entertainment and enjoyment of the troops.
After exiting the Army, Dan went into private practice in Indianapolis, IN where he met Dennis. This is when they began co-writing and collaborating on original music and formed their Missing In America group.
